Good Morning, Thursday!

Do some of these things today:

  • Take 3 deep breaths and look at the sunset wherever you are
  • Organize your bathroom
  • Donate books to the library
  • If you encounter a stellar cashier at a store, or server at a restaurant, or attendant at a movie theater - leave a good comment card for them
  • Use your signal when you change lanes
  • Drink water with lemon or cucumber 
  • Wear your favorite accessory…even if it doesn’t match
  • At least 10 minutes: walk, bike, run, yoga, swim - outside
  • TIP your servers at least 20%. Leave $2 more than you normally do for the barista or hotel maid or car wash cleaner (& be grateful you’re in the one percent if you have a hotel maid, car wash, & barista to tip today)
  • Write someone a card. And mail it.
  • Make a real and sincere effort to enhance the quality of a coworker, stranger, roommate’s, sister’s day…as a direct result of something you do or say 
  • Eat as many vegetables as you can for breakfast, snacks, lunch & dinner
  • WAKE UP with a SERIOUS COMMITMENT to be positive today, no matter what comes your way: enjoy this day.

It sounds SO incredibly lame, but the reason I’m sharing it with you is because I’ve noticed a monumental difference in my attitude & the way my entire day unfolds because of this last bullet point in particular.

I can honestly reflect on the past couple weeks and say I’ve been a happier, more productive, healthier person because of this silly way I wake up with a mission: be kind to others & enjoy this day.
