STATS

I am going to preface this by saying that the numbers on the scale do NOT define me.

I am also aware that weight fluctuates for a plethora of reasons, on a day-to-day basis. 

However, I also recognize that checking and monitoring my weight with the use of a scale HAS HELPED enormously in my journey. I also base my progress on the size of my pants, my measurements and how I feel.

-» I am 5’7” tall and 22 years old my starting weight as of March 23, 2010 was 207 lbs. My BMI was over 32 [BMI > 30 = obesity; BMI from 25-29.9 = overweight; BMI from 18.5-24.9 = “normal”]

—» My long term goal is to be healthy and have a normal BMI between 18-24 & weigh around 145lbs. 

—» My goal for right now is less about the numbers and more about lifestyle, food, exercise choices that make me proud and being healthy.

—» A tangible & realistic goal I’ve set for myself is to weigh less than 170lbs before I graduate from college (December 17,  2010). [DID IT!]

» NEW short-term goal: 160 by the end of September, 2010.
